Miss HBCU Teen 2022
Your second Miss HBCU Teen 2022-2023, Carline Alexandria Boston, is a proud native of Baltimore County, Maryland. Queen Aarin was crowned with this prestigious title representing Alabama State University on Sunday, August 1, 2021 in Arlington, VA. The inaugural title holder, Aarin is currently a freshman at HBCU, Alabama State University, located in Montgomery, Alabama. At Alabama State, Aarin is double majoring in Dance and Business and is a recipient of the Presidential Promise Merit Scholarship and the talent based Performing Arts, BFA Dance Scholarship. She is also a dancer with the highly acclaimed Sensational Stingettes, the dance line with Thee Alabama State University Mighty Marching Hornets.
Aarin Christina Carver
2021 has been a year full of awards and opportunities for Aarin. She placed first in the Theta Mu Mu Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc.’s 2021 Talent Hunt and went on to win first place in the dance division during their 2nd District 2021 Competition. Aarin is also a first place Choreographer/Dance Coach for the Studio A Competition Team, working with both teams and soloist. As a competitive solo dancer herself, Aarin has won 1st place in Teen Soloist dance divisions for the Mid Atlantic Regional Legacy Dance Competition and Mid Atlantic Regional Revolution Dance Competition. As a youth activist, passionate about Social Justice, during the pandemic, Aarin was selected to serve as a Panelist for the Reginald F. Lewis Museum’s Regional Youth Summit on Teen resistance to Systemic Racism. She is also a member of Calvary Baptist church where she is a part of the Girls of Grace. Aarin loves her church and is extremely passionate about her relationship with Christ. She gives God the glory for EVERYTHING.
