The Miss HBCU Teen Pageant provides scholarships, resources, and support to high school girls of color attending Historically Black Colleges and Universities to ensure that they are empowered, excel during their college years, and advance successfully into their careers.
Developing Life-Changing Skills & Relationships
Our pageant program improves the communication & networking skills of participants. This leads to young girls becoming campus leaders, thriving in their careers, and being equipped with credible mentors.
Increasing HBCU Exposure & Enrollment
The Miss HBCU Teen Pageant aims to be an incubator of inspiration & excitement for high school students to attend HBCUs. Through active support & engagement with alumni associations, we aim to increase recruitment opportunities for other high school students.
Providing Scholarships For Multiple Participants
We award each contestant with financial support to help them excel academically. Unlike other pageants, we aim to award all participants to symbolize shared empowerment.
Our Program
The Miss HBCU Teen program is comprised of an 17 week developmental program that focuses on enriching and evolving high school girls into confident leaders for tomorrow’s future. Our program concludes with a 3 day pageant filled filled with friendly competition, networking and scholarship awards.
