Your 2022 Miss HBCU Teen, Carline Alexandria Boston, is a proud native of Brooklyn, New York. Queen Carline was crowned with this prestigious title representing Fisk University on Sunday, May 8, 2022 in Atlanta, Georgia. At Fisk, Carline will major in Economics. Her future career goals include helping invest and grow black owned businesses and nonprofits.

Service is at the forefront of Carline’s mission as Miss HBCU Teen. She started her own personal initiative: “Anyone Can Be A Queen” which is centered around self-empowerment for girls of all ages. Throughout her pageant career, Carline was motivated to empower other young women after experiencing the benefits pageantry had on her mental health, self-confidence and self care. Through her initiative, she aims to reach girls of all backgrounds to help hone in their skills and talents and empower them to be a queen. Carline has enacted her initiative through multiple service opportunities including partnering with girl trek, the largest public health non-profit for black women and girls, for a 5 mile walk and hosting several financial literacy workshops with her schools National Honor Society chapter.
Outside of her dedication to service Carline is committed to her studies. She is a recent graduate of Bishop Loughlin Memorial High where she held a 4.0 GPA. She was her school’s National Honors Society President, the Youth Executive Director for the Youth Power Coalition, a Fast Track NYC Scholar and a member of the Bayside Vipers Volleyball Club. Carline has also received numerous academic and extracurricular achievements including the 2021 GCHSAA All League Award for Varsity Volleyball and the Principal's List Gold Honor Roll for Top 3 Highest Averages in her grade. Carline will attend Fisk University in the fall majoring in Economics. Her future career goals include helping invest and grow black owned businesses and nonprofits.

Carline was accepted to over 15 colleges & universities with over $10,000 in scholarship offerings. She could not be more proud of her decision to attend Fisk University where she will major in Economics. Go Bulldogs!! Carline decided to attend Fisk after her college tour of the campus.
Carline is a multifaceted titleholder and outside of her dedication to service and education she enjoys traveling, watching broadway shows, trying new crafts, playing volleyball, visiting museums, and spending time with family and friends.
A Change-Maker, Leader, and Role Model, Carline plans to use her title as Miss HBCU Teen to make a positive impact on young black girls across the country.
